My designs begin as dreams, visions from my sleep that I bring to life so they can be worn. DNLA is built on creating emotional, wearable pieces that evolve as you do. Every piece is handmade in WA with care and intention, using natural fibres and a slow approach to replace fast fashion, while being gentle on both your skin and the planet.

Each garment honours the person who wears it and the story it holds. This brand is an extension of me, reflecting my love for softness and strength coexisting, and for storytelling through clothing.

Hi, I'm Daniella Steyn, fashion designer and founder of DNLA The Label. I create garments born from big feelings, pieces that honour your body, individuality, and the life you live. At DNLA, fashion becomes dreams you can wear, blending high-fashion ready to wear with made to order pieces designed to feel comfortable, whimsical, and unapologetically you.

Guided by the ethos Live with heart. Create with vision, each piece is crafted with intention to evolve with you. Thoughtful and multifunctional, my garments celebrate individuality and empower self-expression. Every detail is considered, combining timeless design with eco-conscious practices to create wearable stories made to be passed down.

The First Collection: Metamorphia

Every transformation begins somewhere. For DNLA, it begins with the egg.

Metamorphia is the debut collection from DNLA The Label, a meditation on change, becoming, and the power held within you when you accept all aspects of your identity.

Made for the modern busy woman who wants something she can keep reaching for. Something that adapts to her, makes her feel incredible, and most importantly, makes her feel like herself. A wardrobe staple built to last years, not seasons.

The first garment of the collection is The Egg Set. Soft, sculptural, and deeply symbolic, it is inspired by the egg stage of a butterfly's metamorphosis. This is where you begin. Before the world tells you who to be. The origin of selfhood, yours to define.

The Egg Set is made to be felt as much as it is worn, a piece for those who understand that transformation is not always loud. Sometimes it is tender, rounded, and held close to the body.
