StyleAid : Phoenix Rising From The Ashes Runway 2025
My work exploring rebirth and renewal was selected to be featured in the return of the annual StyleAid runway in Perth, Western Australia in 2025. This look blends sculpted bioplastic with elements of the traditional tailored suit—subverting both material and form. The suit fractures old notions of power and uniformity, while the bioplastic challenges permanence, embracing decay and new ways of making. Together, they explore rebirth in the shadow of dystopia, rising from the remnants of the past into something fluid, empowered, and entirely one’s own.

Cancer Council WA Fashion Competition Award — The SunSmart Collection
The SunSmart Collection was inspired by a desire to challenge traditional norms in women’s fashion, prioritising comfort and individuality over restrictive styles. This inclusive line empowers all genders to express themselves through breathable, modular garments that embrace a more liberated approach to fashion. Designed with the Australian climate in mind, the collection combines style with sun protection, catering to a youth demographic that values both fashion and well-being. I focused on sustainability by selecting Eco-Vero viscose rayon, sourced from responsibly managed forests, to create a fashionable and eco-friendly option. Recognised in the 2023 SunSmart fashion competition, my winning design was featured in a limited edition run at Ruck Rover General Store, following an exciting launch event.
The garments and my design process are featured in the short film Conquering Skin Cancer, which debuted in cinemas November 2024. My design journey, along with an interview discussing my creative process and sun-smart design choices, was featured in the documentary Conquering Skin Cancer, notably starring Hugh Jackman, which debuted in cinemas across Australia and USA in November 2024.
